13.3.2022 | Maison La Plage Grove, Noosa
Abi and Paul contacted me, looking for a Male, Noosa based Celebrant who could bring both fun, and a sense of class and sophistication to their black tie, ‘destination wedding’ marriage ceremony. Challenge accepted!
Leading up to the big day, showers plagued the shire. In true Noosa style though, the sun burst through the morning of the wedding: A sure sign that Abi + Paul, two rays of sunshine in their own right had luck on their side, and many more good things to come that day!
Dressed to the nines, guest began arriving at Maison La Plage Grove, and enjoyed a glass of bubbles before the ceremony (you gotta love a drink on arrival to get the wedding buzzzz started!). Class.
Paul and his Groom-pack were handsome-dapper personified, and had plenty of banter from the get-go. I think I spotted a shiny hip flask in the backslapping and man-ribbing somewhere. It was Abi, and her Bride-tribe that stole the show though. Paige, Gemma, Nicole and Ashini wore Basil green, silk dresses and preceded Abi’s head turning gown. Flowing, elegant and timeless (as is the woman herself + fun!).
We co-created the ceremony for maximum enjoyment, weaving the legals, I’do’s and vows around their meeting and traveling stories and the arrival of Anderson, their 18 MO, daughter. The laughs, tears and storytelling concluded with the proposal story…… Punch line: Abi dragged Paul around ring shopping in stores, not knowing he had already bought her ‘the one’ she had been insta-drooling over months previously…. Ha-ha!
Congratulations Mr + Mrs Hollingworth. It was an absolute pleasure to officiate and be a part of your Marriage ceremony and Wedding day!
Boxes checked: Fun, sophisticated and classy…(Abi in spades for that last one ;)!
