Brittany Loves Cody – Celebration at Goodwater Ridge

A chic and romantic celebration for the ages!

Dan Ford is a Marriage Celebrant and Professional MC on the Sunshine Coast. Dan loves to marry couples with fun, sentimental, and engaging ceremonies, where Goodwater Ridge is one of his favourite venues.

Brittany and Cody’s love celebration at Goodwater Ridge, a Tuscan-styled venue oozing with sophisticated charm, was as fun and frivolity-focused as these stunning pictures from Shae Estella Photo show in spades.

Start with this… Cody and Brittany met on top-end Cruise liners, where they were part-time professional dancers, soon to become full-time lovers!

Guests at their Love Celebration included old dancing mentors, school buddies, family, friends… LOTS of friends, including many ‘dancing’ crew for their time on the high seas… and yes, there was quite an entrance dance into reception (as I’m sure you can tell!), and a first dance, and father/daughter dance for the ages!

But let’s backtrack a little… How charming is Goodwater Ridge’s Mediterranean-style chapel, complete with whitewashed walls, terracotta tiles, and a bell tower? Uber charming!
Cody and Brittany packed me up with plenty of their ‘highlights’ to make the ceremony unique, fun, and sincere – there were tissues handed out after the vows and margaritas distributed directly after the nuptials to keep the vibes high, and fun flowing.

We roll into Cocktail hour down at the ‘Ruins’ with Oscar from ‘The Famos’& Co’ providing the perfect soundtrack to a cut glass, champagne challis tower pour from the newlyweds – and I can tell you, everyone wanted a glass of that bubbly to toast Britt + Cody, two of the most genuinely fun and endearing people you will meet.

I was lucky enough to MC, so I got to meet a lot of B + C’s close family and friends, and I can say that ‘your vibe attracts your tribe’ is well and truly a part of this crew’s ethos – Fun, dancing, non-stop banter, laughter – basically, wall to wall personality and charm for days!
